Information we collect
Depending on your role, WBN may collect account and contact information; public alias and profile choices; identity, age and consent records; KYC status; device, browser and IP logs; messages; uploads; moderation, deal and complaint records; wallet and order references; and support communications. Payment-card details are collected by the authorised payment processor, not by WBN chat or ordinary site forms.
Why we use it
Information is used to create and secure accounts, verify adults and consent, operate marketplace and payment workflows, moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse, communicate case updates, meet legal and payment-network duties, and improve service reliability.
Public and private information
Your chosen alias, seller profile, bio, public gallery and approved marketplace content may be public according to account visibility settings. Legal name, private contact details, identity documents, verification photos and protected creator records are not public profile fields and are restricted to authorised use.
Campaign and sweepstakes records
Premium migration and sweepstakes forms may collect contact details, date of birth, country, social profile information, consent confirmations, ticket or reference numbers and a private media sample. Campaign media is stored outside the public media library, is not attached to campaign emails and is available only to authorised reviewers. A verified winner may be announced by the display alias, country and draw month accepted during entry; legal names and entry images are not published without separate written permission.
Sharing
WBN may share only what is necessary with authorised staff, hosting and security providers, identity or age-verification providers, payment processors, professional advisers, law enforcement or regulators where legally required. WBN does not authorise third parties to use private KYC material for their own advertising.
Retention and security
Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, contractual obligations, complaints, safety, fraud prevention and law. WBN uses access controls, restricted storage, audit logs and transport security, but no system can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including POPIA where it applies, you may request access, correction, objection, restriction or deletion of personal information. Some information may need to be retained for legal, safety, transaction or dispute reasons.
